Portland, Oregon is known for many things, including its eco-consciousness and its love of coffee, including being the birthplace of Boyd’s Coffee.

Boyd’s Portland roots definitely factored into our eco-conscious perspective on life. And with Earth Day celebrated on April 22nd,  it’s a month for us to reflect on what all we can do to protect our precious planet by bringing a sustainable, restorative, even regenerative mindset to how we live, how we play, and how we work.

If you care about minimizing waste but also love the convenience of your single serving pod coffee maker, it can feel like a no win situation: most of these pods are just plain wasteful and wind up adding to our landfills.
