Boyd's was one of the first coffee roasters in the U.S. to introduce USDA Certified Organic coffee and Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees. This desire to roast a great coffee that is also good for the environment was a driving force behind many of the Boyd's coffee blends.
Boyd's coffee is roasted using Arabica coffee beans. Our Roastmasters blend multiple types of coffee beans to create the distinctive Boyd's blends available today. In-house Q-Graders conduct frequent cuppings to assess each type of coffee bean used and the roasted blend. This helps us maintain our desired taste, aroma and body of each blend despite differences in climate or harvest season for each bean variety.
Now part of the Farmer Brothers portfolio of oustanding coffee products, our experienced Roastmasters work diligently to ensure our Boyd's blends are roasted to the highest quality and food safety requirements, and that they continue to have the same great taste our customers have come to expect.
