Founded in Portland in 1912, Boyd’s coffee is the preferred brand in restaurants, hotels and convenience stores throughout the Northwest and West Coast.
Our coffee is roasted using only 100% Arabica coffee beans. Our Roast Masters blend multiple types of coffee beans to create the distinctive Boyd’s blends available today. In-house expert Q-Graders conduct frequent cuppings to assess each type of coffee bean used and the roasted blend. This helps us maintain our desired taste, aroma and body of each blend despite differences in climate or harvest season for each bean variety.
And our passion for a great cup of coffee goes beyond classic coffee roasts. Sustainability is core to our business. Boyd’s was one of the first coffee roasters in the U.S. to introduce USDA Certified Organic and Certified Rainforest Alliance coffees. As experts in the industry, we want to make sure we roast a great coffee that is also good for the environment.
