This small-batch, single varietal coffee was grown by the world-renowned Granja La Esperanza team in Trujillo, Colombia, and then expertly brought to a medium-light roast by Boyd Coffee Company in Portland, Ore. Red Bourbon Honey is named for its prized coffee varietal, Red Bourbon (alas, it's a type of plant, not a type of whisky), and the "honey" layer of the coffee cherry, which imparts a gentle characteristic sweetness when it's allowed to dry with the bean.
